Will not etch mesh; contains no strong alkalis or hypochlorites. Ideal for use in tanks: will not attack adhesives on stretch and glue frames; tank heating unnecessary. Odor free
- Instructions
- Remove ink with the proper solvent.
- Use Screen Degreaser Liquid No. 3 to remove solvent residues and to help speed the action of the stencil remover. Rinse thoroughly.
- Use a soft brush to apply Stencil Remover Liquid No. 4 on the screen from both sides.
- Wait five minutes - no longer. Do not allow the stencil remover to dry on the screen, as this can result in a permanent stencil.
- Wash away the stencil with a hard spray of water, preferably a power spray.
- Tank method: Dilute Stencil Remover No. 4 with water (no more than 1:2) - but only after thorough testing. It is recommended, however, that Ulano No. 4 be used at full strength for fastest and most thorough stencil removal.
Stencil Remover Liquid No. 4 is a strong oxidant. It
can cause skin irritation; use gloves. Keep the container closed
tightly. Clean spills immediately.
First Aid: In
case of contact with the eyes or skin, flush immediately with
water. If irritation develops, contact a physician.

Instructions
- Dilute one part Stencil Remover Concentrate No. 42 with 50 parts water.
- 400ml yields approximately 5 gallons (18.93 l - 1 gallon yields approximately 50 gallons.
- Clean ink from stencil.
- Brush the liquid onto both sides of the screen.
- Let screen stand for no more than 5 minutes.
- Rinse with a hard cold water spray.
- The use of a power spray is preferable after the chemical has been rinsed off with a normal spray.
Stencil Remover Concentrate No. 42 is a strong oxidant and corrosive. Contact with combustible material may cause fire. Causes burns. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Remove contaminated clothing immediately. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye / face protection. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately.

Stencil Remover Powder No. 44 - Concentrated Powder
Mix

Perfect for dip tanks. Dissolve 2oz in 1 gallon of water. Use with all Ulano
Direct-Emulsions, CDF® Direct-Films, and Pulsar indirect film.
It is not effective on gelatin films (use Enzyme No. 1).

Instructions
- Clean ink from stencil.
- Brush the liquid onto both sides.
- Let stand for no more than 5 minutes.
Do not let any stencil remover dry on the mesh - it will lock the stencil in the mesh. - Rinse off with a mild spray of water to prevent splashing the stencil remover.
- Rinse with a strong power water spray if necessary.
Ulano No. 44 Stencil Remover Powder is a strong oxidant. Contact with combustible
or flammable material can cause fire. It can cause skin and eye irritation.
Use gloves and goggles. Clean spills immediately.

Ready-to-use paste for fast and thorough removal of direct emulsions, CDF Direct Films, and Pulsar indirect film from all types of mesh including metalized polyester.

- Remove ink with the proper solvent.
- Degrease first with Screen Degreaser Liquid No. 3 to remove solvent residues and to help speed the action of the stencil remover. Rinse thoroughly.
- Use a soft brush to apply Stencil Remover Paste No. 5 on the mesh from both sides.
- Wait five minutes - no longer. Do not allow the stencil remover to dry on the screen, as this can result in a permanent stencil.
- Wash away the stencil with a hard spray of water, preferably a power spray.
- Note: Avoid freezing Stencil Remover Paste No. 5. Freezing and thawing will change the consistency from a paste to a liquid. This has no effect on the chemical activity as a stencil remover - it can be used in the same way as Stencil Remover Liquid No. 4.

Enzyme
No. 1 - Gelatin Stencil Remover


A safe enzymatic product especially formulated for thorough removal of
gelatin-based indirect photostencils from all types of mesh with all Indirect Films except
Ulanolux UP3. Odor free.
- Remove ink completely with the proper solvent.
- Let solvent dry.
- If possible, soak the screen in hot water for several minutes. Run hot water over the printing side of the screen. Scrub the screen with a stiff nylon brush to remove as much emulsion as possible. Rinse with hot, running water.
- Powder method: Sprinkle Enzyme No. 1 liberally on both
sides of the screen and rub it in. Turn the screen stencil side up and
cover the image area with a warm, wet rag. Let the screen stand for a
few minutes. Scrub with a stiff nylon brush and then rinse with hot water.
- Alternate tank method: Dissolve 40 grams (1½ ounces) of Enzyme No. 1 in 4 liters (1 gallon) of warm water.
- Pour this solution into a tank or tray. Immerse the screen for fifteen to thirty minutes. Remove the screen and wash it with hot water.
- Wipe the screen with white vinegar or 5% acetic acid solution to deactivate the Enzyme.
- Rinse the screen thoroughly with tap water.
